Capricorn Collection
A Legend Takes Shape
In 1952, the Vladimir Kagan Capricorn Collection redefined outdoor furniture with its sculptural curves and daring wire forms. Instantly iconic, it forever set a new standard for modern design.
A Modern Revival of Sculptural Legacy
In 2025, Capricorn was reborn. Reimagined six decades after its original debut by Vladimir Kagan Design Director Chris Eitel—a protégé of Kagan himself and trusted keeper of his design legacy—it was adapted for contemporary outdoor living while honoring its origins in every expression of form.
Sculpted Across Time
Ten sculptural pieces, each an exploration of line, proportion and movement. Together, grounded in history and alive in contemporary design. Formed in powder-coated stainless steel, the collection reveals Kagan’s mastery of material transformation—rigid metal shaped into fluid gestures of effortless motion. Each piece bears an etched stamp of provenance, featuring Kagan’s signature and a registered serial number—honoring the continued care of his legacy under Eitel’s direction.
An eternal vision, reborn.
The Capricorn Collection bridges eras—a dialogue between sculpture and function, the legacy of Vladimir Kagan and the evolving language of contemporary design.
